Admin only Threads ????

I cant really see the point of these Threads tbh I suggest a simple solution of an 'Admin only' area if you will, call something else if you like, where threads, news etc can posted there for Admin Only.

The area would not be made visible to members, obviously done in the permiisions settings, we wouldn't then have threads like the one CB just put up, where members such as myself would liked to have click on the link, or reply in the thread, only to be told "Sorry, but only administrators can reply to posts in this forum" and what's the point of putting "Only Admins only are allowed to see this link" when we can't see a link?

I'm not trying to cause a ruckus, just trying to see reason behind these is all.

Hey stargate, This is not what i intended to use it for and is a mistake on my part.

I meant for all users to see the posts & links but only for me to post threads. It is now fixed

Yeah they are sponsored posts just to help pay for developers so that we can add new features to the site aswell as pay for promotion and maybe hire some staff, Your donations have helped us alot stargate! but we thought some people who dont want to donate as we dont have much that interests them (yet) might want an intro for their channel

Aww... snap, did I just hear Charlie Brown say he wants to hire staff? Maybe in a few more months after some revenue starts going into the site that will be possible, but that's what I've been waiting to hear.
