So where is the GSF store at?

SO I've been thinking about how CB can generate some extra income, I was thinking, why not have a store. I'm sure this is something he's considered. Who here wouldn't want a hat, t-shirt, or beer mug with the logo of their favorite forum on it?

I was think about some product ideas that would be featured in the store and so far my list is:

• T-shirts
  
• Hoodies
  
• Beer Mugs & Shot Glasses
  
• USB Drives
  
• youtube packages with FX, customizable intros and the whole lot.
  
• hats or beenies
  
• slap bracelets (you know you remember them from the 90's
  
• key chains
  

Anything else we can think of?

I'm not to sure people will walk around with tshirts that say get sponsored forum on them XD

why not exactly? Especially if the site helped them get sponsored? I know I'd wear a beenie or hate or Tee, that had GSF on it, it's a conversation starter.

All I know is that most people wouldn't wear a t-shirt that only said the name of a website and the admin has stopped donations so I doubt he'll set up a shop

I assume that's because he's trying to take different avenues for revenue generation, not because he doesn't want income. I can see why he would do that do, it makes people feel like it's a scam to get on here. Oh we'll I have to donate to participate? He came up with a better system to make people more active, I think what he means is, we're no longer accepting donations as a means to get sponsored or promoted, I'm sure if you wanted to give him money to keep it up and running he'd be more than happy to receive it.

umm... either way, people wear all sorts of apparel and I can think of ten other websites that do the same thing. Gamefly, College Humour, ebaumsworld, facebook, youtube, videomaker.com, and a whole bunch of other sites, I can think of other forums that do the same as well. SO it's certainly not a far-fetched idea.

And I know you didn't imply that, I did. But you mentioned that he's not taking donations, and I'm saying, that doesn't mean he's not still trying to make money.

I truthfully would not purchase anything from the store if it ever exists. Where I come from, Getsponsoredforum to the women means "This guy really wishes to be a virgin forever." Sorry.

I guess I just don't care what a girl thinks about what I'm wearing, if she doesn't like me for who I am then she can hit the road. Plus I've been living with my gorgeous girlfriend for the last 4 years and she doesn't seem to mind. Hell she's been playing Chrono Trigger for the last few weeks.

Also take a look around the web at the sites that just sell apparel. Here's a site that caters to the more intelligent crowds.

If, instead, you mean, 'No1, why are you always so cynical?' then I'd say, research the origin of the word, it comes from Diogenese of Sinope. He's a role model of mine.

No1 you make valid points. I don't disagree with the idea of having a GSF store, but I have to say when someone disagrees with you, you tend to lean slightly more towards bitter.

I just think people disagree with things for silly reasons. I find it odd when people just say, "I don't like it" and have no reason. I defend my position, I don't think that has anything to do with me being bitter, also my demeanor say otherwise, I'm actually quite happy these days.

fair enough no1. As I said i think that a store would actually be pretty cool. And I am quite glad you are happy these days =P

A GSF Store will be a great idea. I thought there was one, Wasn't that point of all the points.

Having a store would be great! It's a great way to raise money. CB would be rich I don't see it as that way, though. I see it as you are giving the site money to help CB out and you are getting a great item, too (whatever you order).
