This was simply too long of a process and not simplified. So I did some searching, but to no avail I couldn't find a good answer. Most of the hosting sites only allow 1GB for the max size of an upload. Then all of a sudden, stumbleupon led me to a great program that solved this problem. It's called FrostWire. It's essentially a legal limewire, that helps users transfer data using .torrent files. Torrent uploading can be a difficult process for new users, but this program makes it very simple with a few clicks and some basic setup options.
Here's a link to the download.
Okay once you get the program installed and you've accepted the disclaimer we need to change a few things.
Most importantly, Add the folders to your library that contain the files you wish to share, in the options for the program.
Now, go to the library tab > select the file type (i.e. Video) > select the video > Click the send button while the video is highlighted > Copy the link it provides and post it to the forum, most likely in the Current Game Night thread, which is preferable in case some one else would like to edit the footage.
Here's an example of file that's been uploaded via FrostWire
Download "Sublime-Santeria.mp3" at http://bit.ly/ODfNyp
via FrostWire
It's really that simple. This will be the standard from here on out if you are a recorder for any game night. This is how all files will be received by me and I will not go about this in any other way so don't ask me to. It's a very simple setup process and it works. It's much faster than any other method and nearly fool proof. Download it now and get started. If you need help, let me know.
EDiT: This is SUPER IMPORTANT
After you upload it to FrostWire, you must leave FrostWire running. If you aren't familiar with torrent files, you must SEED them so others can download the files. If the program isn't running and you aren't connected to the internet, the link won't go through because others don't have access to files without an active connection. The files are never stored online, they are only stored on the user's physical Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The program simply makes a connection between the computers.
To other game night hosts: feel free to copy/paste this thread. If both PC and XBOX adapt this method, all three threads will be deleted and one will be reposted under Game Night News and Announcements.
Oh yeah, 600th POST!!
