HomeMost people post a lot to earn xp to get VIP and put their videos on the side but most of these videos don't get clicked but what if people were given like 10 XP once they watched the video until the end but this would only work once per person

not a bad idea, but it'll require CB hiring a developer to set up something like that. I think he's given alot of control over what he can do with the forum, but I don't think that's something that can easily be modified. It may certainly help with getting more views.

This would be cool, but it seems pretty hard. How would you know that somebody watched a video all the way through to the end?

I have no idea but there are tons of websites that do things like this they have videos and when you watch them to the end.you earn points

I honestly don't agree with this. Due to the fact that you can cheat the system and just watch the first 5 seconds of a video and it will count as watching. So it's not fair they would get the XP. There is no way that can be fixed. Sites have tried it before and this was the major problem. Only way it is fixed if GSF makes there own video uploading system.

What if the person skips to the end? That wouldn't actually be watching the video. Getting XP for watching videos is not a good idea, now that I think of it. There is a way to code it also not to allow it to fast forward also the people get the view so it already works

That is a really good idea if it can be done I am for it all the way. I think it will give an incentive for people to actually watch videos and most likely, it will help with some cross promotion here on GSF as well as on YouTube.

We're almost to the second page, so let me be the one to say it's impossible because this site is on forumotion's site engine and forumotion gives certain choices. None of which involves forum points for visiting any external link whatsoever. This includes embedding of videos. Good idea, though.
