Elgato Game Capture Card

Hey guys,
Just seeing all these HD PVR's all over this topic and I'm just here to say, The Elgato Game Capture Card is by FAR the best Capture Card, So easy to set up ( Basically only 3 cables to set up; 2 HDMI Cables + The USB to connect to your Computer/Laptop )
The quality of it is amazing! If you want to see check out my channel! I was so happy to get it, much better than the HD PVR

P.S The Elgato can record in 720 or 1080p :3

I've never personally heard of it, so can't comment on wether it's the best or not.

TBH, most people who capture gameplay have thier own Idea of what is best, me I don't particulary give a flying fart tbh, I have the HD PVR, but only because I liked what a friend told me about it, he reccomended it so I bought it

At first it was hard to get used to, the manual isn't the best if I'm honest, but I went online to see what the best set ups were and got it all done n dusted

It does what I want it to do, and that's good enough for me, glad you're liking your capture card

I've never heard of this type of card Where can you buy it, and how much does it cost?

that is a lot but it also uses HDMI cable which the Haupaugge HD PVR doesnt unless you have a converter. Again thanks for the review and i will have to look more into this HD PVR.

yeah the elgato looks incredible its so simplictic and looks mint!

yea i just looked at some videos of it and its recording and it looks awesome!

I've always enjoyed elgato's stuff. I use the elgato eyetv with my mac for capturing, since the hd pvr doesn't work with mac. Plus it is cheaper (at least in my experiences than the hd pvr). But as far as quality I don't see much difference.

Anyone know any info about that Time Freeze feature it has that allows you to go back 30 minutes if you werent recording...
