I buyed AverMedia for a few months ago, and i had bo problems with it so far.

AverMedia is werry good, its easy to use and the best is that you can record in FULL HD with no problems.
I will recommend AverMedia to you boys if you are looking for a HD PVR.

Here is a little video about AverMedia.

Thanks this could really come in handy because most people complain about Total Media Extreme 2 or Hauppauge PVR prices...

Other than that I would love to see a PVR with a HDMI installation T_T

If you complain about the price on the Hauppauge and get something else you are paying for junk. Hauppauge is the best, and Total Media Extreme is amazing.

Yes, super difficult to find arcsoft software Rolling Eyes

http://torrentz.eu/search?f=arcsoft

The best software is also subjective for each user's computer specs. Dazzle might work well for people with older computers. Hauppauge PVRs also might work because it takes alot of the burden off the shoulders of weak processors and low RAM. There are tons of technical reviews on these items in comparison to one another, yet we're all going off of opinion. Most people are unaware of what will really work the best for them since the amount of products they've tried has been limited to a single purchase and untamed speculation about other's hardware.

Maybe, u also need to be more carefull to open all maps or torrent, they can have virus, or make sure you have a good virus program.

Most torrents now adays don't have to many viruses on them, you're actually more likely to get a virus by visiting the site a torrent is hosted on, that's why I try to stick to Piratebay. Also keep in mind that keygen and patched files will register with most decent anti-virus softwares as a "trojan" or other things, when in fact that are completely innocent. They use similiar exploits that viruses do so they set off warning bells. Many people think they know what they're are talking about when it comes to torrentz and other p2p or cloud transfer services, but they really have no idea and are just reciting hearsay. Many sites like torrentz.com have a pretty large community that are quick to filter out any garbage, but most of the time you can do that yourself by paying attention to what the torrentz are named. I.E. don't download a DVDrip of a movie that hasn't even made it theaters yet. But those torrentz don't last long. Most program torrentz are rare to have viruses stored along inside of them, because that's a difficult way to access peoples information if you intend to use your computer know how for evil. Most people prefer direct access via your IP address and then just data logging all of your keystrokes. other times they can push a program that scans your computer for anything that returns hot words about personal info such as PW S/N... etc. We don't live in the 90s anymore where every other .mp3 file you find on limewire would crash your computer.

a virus cannot control your computer when it's off. That is false, 100%.

Viruses are stored on Harddrives, they can only function when the hard drive is on. In no way can they transmit data or anything else if the power is cut. By simply using your internet kill switch you disable all access it has between your computer and it's host. (disable your network adapters if you don't have a killswitch) The virus can still affect your computer but it can't steal you data if you don't allow it to transmit it.

I'll take my chances because I can remove even the most embedded viruses, and if I can't, I back up all of my data regularly, so I can just wipe my computer and start fresh. Things aren't as scary when you understand them.

Yes some viruses can open your web browser (even with browsers that aren't your default browser) and connect your internet to malevolent IPs or pop up porn or something stupid in a spammish manner, but there are ways to stop this and should not be feared like so many do. In fact this computer I'm typing this message on has gotten about ~25 viruses in the last 6 years, but it runs smoother than most new computers. The internet is a powerful thing my friend.

Also seriously where are you from, do you live in America? Is english your first language?

I ask because your typing/grammar needs some love. I can give leeway when English is your second language, because I know how hard it is to get use to a different syntax. However if you lived in America, I'd be the grammar police all day.

[as for your friends computer, it prbably got wiped before it shut off, there is no way that could have happened when it was off unless he had a power surge while the computer was still plugged in, or you guys got a really strong electromagnetic storm, which is possible that far north, but it would have affected everyone's computers]

Yes actually a virus could still be dormant inside the computer, waiting for certain 'trigger' conditions (such as a specific date) to activate and release its payload.
