To participate, you must post your information in the Signup Thread (this will help the hosts plan for the next game night) and then post a single line in this thread saying that you want to be apart of the upcoming game night with your PSN Screen Name (ex. I'll Play! [PSN: No1leftb3hind] ).


If you do all of this I'll send you a message on the PSN confirming the application or you can beat me to the punch line and send me the friend invite. (ID: No1leftB3HIND) This will only happen if you haven't played a previous night, if you have just be locked and loaded and wait for party invites on the Game Night.

(1) There is a general code of conduct for these game nights, that may be common sense for most, but it must be said that you must follow all Forum Rules, in addition do not be disrespectful to fellow players or hosts.

(2) Also, Since the last game night had such low attendance, please only sign-up if you're sure you're going to be there.
People who sign-up and are 'no call, no shows' will receive a 2 week ban for their offense. If something comes up, please inform me so I can remove you from the roster and no consequences will be applied.

awesome, help me promote if you know more people that have GTA4, the friends I have with it are limited, so I'm counting on you all to help me promote this.

Even if we only have a few for the game night that'll be okay, I just want to get something up other than CoD so people know we plan on expanding once we have more members. I won't be too discouraged if this isn't an immediate success.

Also just a quick update about game night #3, I've been SUPER busy IRL, so I haven't had to much of an opportunity to do anything with the footage yet, however it is converted properly now, It's been clipped out, and lined up ( we had multiple recorders so I had to get the games in an appropriate sequence.) I have any idea about what I'll do with it, but it may actually take me till the end of next week. (Luckily I have 3 days off next week so I'll have some time to dedicate to the forum and videos).

so we're a little over a week away from this and it seems some of our Game Nighters have gone completely MIA... I know there are at least 5 people already registered on this forum with GTA4 that can play. However it's just the two of us (myself and PMS )

wtd7, shazzieGaming, and RajonRondooooo also have the game and with two of them having already participated I expect them to be there.

If you know anyone with a ps3 and/or this game, point them this way. I'd like to have a game night with more than 2 people, but even still I'm sure TBD and I will have fun. C'mon people, let's get on the ball.

Also just as an update, I'm getting closer to having a video worked up from the last game night, I'm shooting for friday night, but by Sunday for sure.

awesome, that'd be awesome, every time I try and promote it on another site people are like, no soliciting and delete my threads. Not very hospitable if you ask me.

hmmm...that may be doable. I've got a super busy week, so I'm not sure if I'm going to have alot of time to set it up, but maybe for the next one.

Also zey, that really is CB's department and I can't speak for him, the youtube partnership is actually available for us on our gamenight channel, but I've been waiting to fill out stuff until he's more active. Now that I think about it, I completely forgot to add that to the 'updates' letter I just sent him.

Any who, the live stream thing is a great idea, I'm definitely going to look into that.

This should be a really cool game night. I really wish I had a PSN account. I look forward to seeing how this goes.

Sooo, there isn't much I can do, every time I try to bring more people in, other forum moderators just shut me out before I can get people in. It'd also help if people started liking the facebook page, if I can get more people to like it, I'll be given different advertising rights which will help bring more people in. It's not much, but it's a step in the right direction.

Become a director for a network that will help you guys get more views and stuff
Or get others to promote you guys videos on other channel ^_^

official youtube partnership you talking about youtube right? me to be honest if you talking about youtube you do realize if you get decline you won't be able to get a partnership from anyone just saying that's why a lot of people go after network. If you go for like TGN you get the banner and stuff but if you with youtube you don't. I understand your opinion sometimes it's good to take things into consideration, but you don't have to get partner you can also become director for a network to get a better audience and spread the word of GSF

I'm aware of that, being a network is better than contributing to a network. CB posted awhile back with a bunch of partnership options and how to apply for them with each network on youtube, including almost every gaming network. The real goal here is to be affiliated with them but not be part of them, for those networks to use us a gateway for up-and-coming youtubers. We want to bring them here, not use them to bring people here. It's counter-productive to the end goal to get hooked up with a network.

GSF will eventually stand on it's own as a network, but that isn't entirely necessary. I've got some pretty good ideas for marketing coming up, but I gotta be on board with CB before I make any decisions. If I go to 'red' status, i think I may be able to get some more corporate sponsors for this site. Small steps are key, if we jump on board I think it ruins some of the overall goals we have in mind.

1 Day left! Still only two people... this makes me very sad. Maybe we'll pick up a few more people in the last 26 hours. I kinda doubt it, but I can hope right? TBD I hope you are there with your recorded armed and ready to go.

Unfortunately we are going to push this back till next sunday. When I couldn't get up with TBD from noon to 4 I abandoned it and went to dinner. So don't worry guys, the game night will be on the 11th at 6pm EST. Please remember and show up, and stop lending out your games people. You're like the 5th person to tell me that. So check the thread for the update, but it'll be next Sunday at 6pm EST, 11th of Nov. Please have the game data installed before jumping on.

Game Night was cancelled due to no one being there. i'll post up a new one next with witha return to the CoD Franchise, might due a MoH or BF3 Night, not sure yet.

Valiant effort but I think these game nights are a lost cause. You are the only one trying anymore. It was a good idea just obviously isnt panning out. And I feel like this site is dying too. Its like a ghost town around here.

I know what you mean. I've sent 2 large updates to CB, haven't heard a thing. I can't update the damn countdown timer on the main page, the damn TOP POSTER link hasn't been updated in nearly 3 months now. I have people sign up and they just completely forget about it. I know that this could work, but we gotta have somebody who can actually work on the site. Getting kinda tired of it, I believe in what I was saying, if we can make the site succeed, we'll succeed, but when we can only do so much, it's like lemmings falling off the side of the cliff.
