So, I did some googling the other day lookng for other sites who host game nights, because I wanted, initially, to see how well they had been doing. I wanted to know if we were ahead or behind the curve. As of right now, I'd say we're actually doing better than any of the other sites have, at least as far as PS3 is concerned. Halo Reach on 360 seems to have a pretty consistent fan base, but that is it relatively. Well, in realizing this, I thought to myself, what if we can bring them all together, but this in lies the problem, it's not good form to go around stealing other site's members and I don't want to do that, but I do want to get our name out there, especially to people who are interested in playing with fellow gamers in a friendly environment. So this is what happened after that little thought process. I registered for a few sites and posted this:
So here's what I'd like to see from anyone interested in helping promote Game nights to help it grow.
{and before I'd say this, I want reiterate why it is important to get more people involved. Sponsors and "The Money" follow the people, the more people involved in these activities, the better everyone's chances are for getting payed to play their favorite games. Let me say that again, the more people registered & active on this site, the better our chances are at getting payed to play/rate/review/clip/edit/etc... games.}
Okay so to help us grow and get that ball rolling we need more people than just myself, getting the GSF name out there. I'd like you to do that by helping me recruit people using what I've already typed as a template, and modifying it to describe yourself and who it's aimed at.
Once you've petitioned a site or forum I want you to report back here with your findings and/or the name of the site you've petitioned. I'd be willing to give out a mystery reward to any member for every relevant petition submitted to another site/forum. But you have to show proof by providing a link or a screen cap.

P.S. The easiest way to find other game nights through google is to type in {Ps3 Game Nights -hasboro} just like that, don't include the curly brackets.
Hey, it looks like you're having a little trouble getting people involved in a game night here. I'm experiencing a similar problem. I'm a Moderator for GetSponsoredForum.com . Our site helps promote gamers who like to play games competively or just for fun. We have quite a few youtube partners that browse our site on a daily basis. It's a very active forum with over 6500 registered users.
I'm the PS3 Game Night host on GSF and what we do for our game nights varies; we play different games (I'm currently trying to get more members registered so we can move away from the CoD's), we'll be trying to accomplish different objectives in our game nights eventually, we have a wide variety of skill levels among our gamers, and most importantly we record all of our game play create a montage or highlights and upload it to youtube. This helps get people's names out into the community of gamers who are active online. In addition it's also a cool way to relive game nights and keep track of where we've been and where we are going.
I don't want to steal anyone away from [Forum Name] by what I'm about to say, and I really mean that. However, I want you and anyone else interested in joining a growing game night to check this out.

How it works is, we have people fill out a small form with their contact and game information to help plan for game nights; here is the sign-up thread:

{By registering to the site and filling out the forum we add the information to a spread sheet so it's easier to plan the next game night. We take a poll based on the available game #s and plan the next night accordingly. Unfortunately, we haven't had enough people to do it more consistently. So it's a once a month kinda thing, currently that is. Once we get about 30 members active and registered, we will expand to twice a month, and when we near 75-100 we'll do it once a week}
The current game night coming up is listed here, we'll be playing GTA4 this time around, now you may not have this game, but I urge you to look into signing up so we can pick a game that interests you or others.
