Midnight Release Talk

I was just wondering how many of you are gonig to the midnight release in your town? I know i am but i was wondering how many people attend your midnight release? My midnight release is in a town with a population for 10,000 and there is about 300 to 400 people that show up to it. Also at the midnight release i go to they set up 3 tvs and they have score competitions. Just want to get your imput on it and your experiences.

in the uk the game is realsed in tesco asda sainsburys game gamestation... ect but i know when i got black ops there was about 60 people there... sainsburys asda tesco are large supermarkets in the uk and game, gamestation is like american gamestop

I will not be going to a midnight release... ever... again... Diablo 3 ruined it for me. I'll wait until at least the first patch is released if I get suckered into buying a game for full retail price. I think the only reason I would go again is if was for some collector's edition game that I really want, maybe tekken 7. I have everyone so far and two copies of 6, one standard on collector with the giant arcade style controller.

well thats because its Diablo 3 haha never got into those games. I like going to them just for somthing to do and to do the competitions at them

Not me. It's just a video game that will be there every day from there in out. I've got a life to live.

I am going to the midnight release for BO2 and Halo 4. And plan on uploading videos ASAP. as many tip videos and guides as possible to help my subs dominate on these games

you mean like every other person? What time zone are you in? If you're on the east coast you actually have to wait until 3am in the morning before they'll hand you the game. There will be others who didn't follow the rules and will be playing at 12am EST, by 12:30 am on the west coast you'll already be 2.5 hours behind.

With the exception of the Halo2/Halo3 midnight releases, I have been disappointed with midnight releases. I will not be in an area that is having a midnight release so I won't be attending one for BO2 and I am quite glad.
