So last night, myself, Fr0z3n and HBG Rampage got together to talk about the game nights and everything we can do to improve the site. It ended up turning into an impromptu game night test like Fr0z3n and I wanted to try last weekend. SF Amigos was able to join us as we as a couple of non-forum members.
We played several games of black ops and it was a lot of fun. So now we know that we can make the game nights be successful. We will just need everyones participation when we do the actual game nights.
The benefits of the games nights should be very exciting to everyone. For the xbox game nights, both myself and Rampage will be able to record a good bit of the games. We are both willing to use the gameplays as videos for our personal youtube channels as well as loading some on the GSF youtube channel. Everyone in participation will have their own channels linked in the description of the videos. Everyone will be encouraged to visit the other member's channels.
Another massive benefit to the game nights is that you will more than likely become friends with the other members while playing with them. I know that personally, the subs that I do have consider me to be their friend because of how we interact on my channel. And I feel the same way about them. You are more likely to have the other members/subscribers of yours make the extra effort to help you and your channel be more successful when you guys are friends. My own subs really try to help my channel out, and I theirs, and I really appreciate it.
We are also thinking of doing some sort of top ten from the game night. So you may also be featured in those videos as well.
