Did I miss something, but I can no longer see YT tags on other people's channels. Is it a setting I have to enable or something else?

Youtube hid the tags from public because people would abuse it or something like that.

tags are meta data that help search engines locate certain web pages.

Most websites hide their tags. And being as trolling is a fad on youtube, it seems quite obvious why they took it a away. Be assured they are still there. Just hidden on a Server somewhere far, far away.

I always put tags on my vids, and have yet to see videos of those I've subscribed to, be hidden, not heard of this until today I have to admit, very strange.

ok upon doing a bit of research and asking around, this was decided via an investment meeting...which still makes no sense as to why they would hide tags from public view..makes me think that the heavily viewed youtubers might have been doing something shady with tags...i dont know

I miss seeing my tags because I want to check if my tags are set up the right way. its kinda stupid if you ask me, but thats just my opinion.
