HomeI noticed for this site when checking on the video promotion forums that you need to actually hit the play button on the vid instead of it just auto playing..would it be possible to have them auto play as soon as someone clicks on the link...hope this thread makes sense if not I would be more than happy to explain further

I'm not sure if that's a setting this forum, or even individual users can control. I'm pretty sure that's standard youtube embeds. While it might be helpful for a thread with a single video, imagine a thread with 5 or 6 videos in it. They would all start playing at the same time. I think this is a suggestion that's going to slide into the depths, a)not doable b) not practical

thanks for the quick reply, i was thinking in terms of getting more views but to your point it would be a mess with those multiple vids on 1 post..maybe get another "super mod" to monitor those type of posts...i hear LOVEtheNOOB would be great

I think we have enough SuperMods for now, and that's completely up to CB, but stick around a while longer and we can see about normal MOD, just stay productive.

thanks for the info, i truly hope auto play will be a feature added to this site...and i am not to concerned with being a MOD or anything..i'm mostly on here during my work hours

That's funny, I wish I could be at a computer for work. I work in a kitchen so I barely touch my phone for 5-6 hours a night, not that I really whore my phone around. In fact, yea, I'm one of those people that easily survives without it.

All of these vids would make it lag imagine streaming the 3.vids on the front page

yes it would, but rules can always be set up and enforced easily to only post one vid per thread...

I already tried when you add the code it automatically sets the code to =0 so it doesn't work

I Disabled this feature a while ago as there way to way to have it play on video promotion section without vip vids auto playing (on the right) which was annoying as hell lol

But if it was turned back on then VIP vids would get thousands views

No I checked a few months ago. youtube only counts autoplays as views if they come from youtube.com.
So if its autoplayed on Getsponsoredforum.com it wont count as a view.

thanks for all the input, now that Admin CB explains it would be crazy to listen to a whole bunch of vids go off as soon as you enter the site lol

a choice would be nice, but some people do not like to have a video automated play on them.
