Astro A40s

I've had Astro A40s for awhile now.

Astro A40s are probably the best headset I've ever owned. The sound is clear, loud if you wish, and easily controlled with the mixamp that can come with it.

Now I've owned Trittons, as well as Turtlebeaches, and I can honestly say that the Astros are the only headset that hasn't made my ears hurt from wearing them hours at a time.

Are Astro A40s for you?
As much as I love them, they aren't for everyone. If you plan to play hour upon hour at a time and/or are very competitive, then yes, a must buy. If you're just the casual gamer, then no, you probably shouldnt invest in them.

Astro A40s are pricey, but amazing overall. I give them a 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

A30s are ONLY for PC and moblie and cost 130bucks, A40s are for PS3/360/PC 200 $ and the brand new A50s PS3/360/PC are 300 $.

A buddy of mine has the A50s and they are amazing. but unless you are really reeeealy paying close attention it is hard to hear a huge difference between them and the a40s. That is just imo.
