Final Fantasy 13-3

So if anyone is as much of a FF fan as I am you certainly have noticed that Final Fantasy 13 left a lot of unanswered questions. And with the release of 13-2 it pretty much created more questions than it answered. And the DLC did not do much better. Now that being said the creative team did a wonderful job with developing two separate groups of characters with two different story lines. I know that through playing both games I was engulfed in the story of Lightning and Serah.

So with that being said the idea that at the end Serah dies and Lightning encases herself in crystal until the end of time. I believe that there will be a Final Fantasy 13-3. Not to mention Square has hinted at it. Toriyama has hinted at a possible sequal. "Asked if anything Final Fantasy XIII related would be announced at the upcoming 25th anniversary Final Fantasy event (an art gallery in Shibuya), he responded: 'I think the Lightning DLC had an ending that left a feeling of mystery and hope. The day when the meaning of this will become known is coming in the near future.'"

What do you guys think?

I don't like the FF series and even though I don't play it I hate the fact they have dragged on FF 13

I like the final fantasy series, but I really didn't like 13. The only thing I liked about it probably was the graphics, everything else was pretty awful, including the story line, I didn't even bother with 13-2, and I hope they move on and skip 13-3. I just wish they'd remake 7 or tactics.

They did remake 7 but only for pc

I don't see a difference

remake means they build the game from the ground up, over again, with better layering and more dynamics. Remastered just goes back in cleans up some of the edging and bugs, maybe adds a few things, but not usually. There is a huge difference.

yeah well i agree about 7 but he had already said that a remake is not going to happen as of right now. But it will be done in the future. As for tactics i have no idea.

As much as I love the FF13 Series, I would much rather see the next FF game made.

Actually fans had start remaking tactics and SquareEnix at the time shut it down. And yeah, I heard that they never intend remake 7, which the fan remake was also shut down. Apparently they had gotten to the bike FMV before it was shut down. I use to have a link, but can't find it now. It looked amazing.

but back to the topic... FF13 is now $10 on gamefly (i can get it for five when I get my $5 off next month), I think that says alot about the quality of the game. I just feel that FF12, while on an older system, was worlds better with, programming, system dynamics, side quests, and pretty much everything else. I just hope that when 14 comes out it's as epic as 7, Tactics, 10, & 12.

yeah i hope ff14 will be better than 13 . ff13 was bad really bad hopefully 14 will be way better.

well regardless of if you like it or not, tonight in Seattle at the 25th anniversary Final Fantasy party (31 AUG 2100 PST) Square will be playing a video of the developers releasing something about the future of FF13.

really?!? so lame. I'm still voting for the "please move along, nothing to see here option" That means I'll have to wait even longer for a great Rpg on PS3.

well I am not sure if that means that there will be a new FF13 game or if there will be something like how they did with FF7 such as a movie, PSvita game, or something along the lines of a non-mainstream title. Either way, there should be something.
