Sony Vegas Pro 10

Vegas pro is one of the few programs I have used to render my clips. I started out using windows movie maker (which lasted all of about two videos). After that I invested in getting Vegas Pro and have never looked back. It is amazing and can pretty much do anything and everything. I would suggest that if you have the ability to purchase it (it's one downfall being it's price) I would highly suggest it!

As good a piece of software as it is its all mostimpossible to use unless you know what your doing I wish someone would post a tutorial

It is very complex. I've been using it for over a year and I still don't know everything there is to know about it.

I'm using the Movie Studio Edition of 11 that comes with Sound Forge, and I've been playing with it for 3 months now, and I've really gotten the hang oof it, there is so much to do, and as far actually clipping and editing a movie, it is by far the best program. Unfortunately I'm too poor to drop a few hundred bucks on the Pro version of the program, that comes with the masking features that really make it worth it. If you're have trouble using it, maybe you could pass it my way?!?!?!?

yeah I can try, need to get a good PC recording program, because I do most of the complex stuff while making these runthroughs. I mean it's not the editing for FPS, but all the skills are transferable.

But it is a good question you said you needed good recording software and i have a 100 user license

Ok, i have actually heard Sony Vegas is very easy to use...guess the people I asked are computer savvy..i myself use Video Wave (Roxio) and have somewhat mastered it..but i do like all the features that Sony has to offer..but the price is really what hurts it and has prevented me from getting it

From what I have seen, Vegas is the best. it is just too much money for me now.

I will always prefer 9.0 over 10.0 for sony vegas. 10.0 they changed up so much which makes it a lot simpler, but takes away from a lot you can do, but along with taking a lot away, they added newer stuff which I just don't like. The new animations aren't as good as the 9.0, as in the 9.0 you can mod the system a lot easier and add a lot more than you can do in 10.0

I bought the Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11, it cost me A little under £39:00, for me, that is not an expensive price to pay when I think of what it gives, it really is a fantastic piece of editing software

I have only just started to scratch the surface with what I can do with it, but that;s due to my lack of knowledge, not the suites capability

Vegas is better though. Also I would have cracked it instead of paying for it.

Yes slingjaw fella, works absolutely fine, it's a superb piece of editing software, I looked at pro but to me, although it is excellent, it's more for movie making and video making than gaming etc, and you make videos etc with the HD 11 Platinum, so I plumped for that at way less the price

But as they say horses for courses, it depends on what you want as to what you buy

Thanks! I know pro is out of the question because it is like $500. but hopefully the other one works well for me

I was saying you can get Vegas Free if you crack it. Search it on youtube.

Yeh that happens with a lot of stuff when they a push a so called 'new product' out.

When you think about it, Vegas 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 and now 12 one every year !! Vegas 8 2008 etc etc

To make the product more appealing to the public, they have to put nice shiny toys in there lol, to do that, sometimes they have to take stuff out, I suppose you can't just keep adding stuff, there comes a point where there is everything you need in one the one product.

For me, I have all I need in my Vegas 11 Platinum, I haven't seen what's in Vegas 12, not interested tbh, as I've said elsewhere on the forum, I've only just started scratching the surface with this one.

I've actually heard Vegas 12 was the best one. Which is why i'm actually looking into cracking it. But Idk right now I'm more focused on creating a hacked PS3 and get shit on there. Not that hard, I just need to take my old ps3 apart and connect some stuff.
