But a great video and I love it when people bring things up that I can actually have a spirited discussion about.

This post has tons of valid posts. I am straight edge and I have been for 2 years. When I was 14, I was hanging out with the pot-smoking and extreme alcoholic group in school. Must I add I was in 8th grade? I was never caught with it, and my parents still don't know. My grades started to become poo-poo. I then went to listen to those who are smarter than this and moved to straight edge. That's my story.aznrule191 wrote:in response to the straightedged commentary, My opinion is that no one should let other people tell them what to do. Do not let other people make decisions for you. If you are straightedge, great. If you aren't then that is fine too. This is coming from a guy who smoked for 4 years (quit about 4 months ago), enjoys alcohol occasionally and responsibly, and does not do drugs. Bottom line is that if someone wants to be straightedge then they will be straightedge. If someone wants to smoke a shit load of crack then they will smoke a shit load of crack. We can make all of the drug free, alcohol free, safe sex commercials that we want, but in the end if someone wants to do something there is little that anyone can do about it.
But, the only problem is that I have no problem with people who do drugs and stuff. I usually say they are bad, but no one ever listens. It just pisses me off when people brag about doing it.
One day in my math class freshman year of High School, a kid comes in looking all dizzy and tired. He falls asleep and then gets called on to answer a question. Then we realize he is knocked out and will not wake up. The nurse gets sent up to the room and escorts him out of the room. Class was cancelled that day. The following day, we found out he OD'd and nearly died. I was concerned. The next week, he comes back to school and goes up to everyone in sight and says "Hey man, I was fucked up last week. Bet you can't do that". I then wanted to hit him in the face and say "no".
Also, must I add that this is NOT your Little League World Series rant?

But in response, my commentaries are intended to get everyone that watches to think a little more than they normaly would have. Discussion is always welcome.
