Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale

Anyone else been playing the public beta?

My First impressions of the game are that it needs a little work on how smooth it plays, the buttons are kinda choppy. It's similar to SUper-Smash Bros but it just doesn't have the same kinda combos, and having to build up your bar before you can actually get kills is a little annoying. I dunno, though. I'll see how I feel once it's released. Anyone else that's played it have any thoughts?

I have not played it, but I have heard a little bit about it, and to be honest, I am not exactly excited about it. But I might look into it once it comes out depending on what I hear about it.

Yeah, I'm right there with ya, I'm definitely skeptical. Especially if they want $20 USD or more. I'd hope it would be free if you have PS+ but I'd doubt it. I guess I can hope.

Im sure given abit more time it will be free on ps+ at some point.

oh I'm totally aware, it's a good deal for the most part, they don't release new freebies too often, but when they do, it's usually worth it. Just downloaded Blitz (even though I'm not really into sports games) and King of Fighter XIII. Once I get caught up on some of these videos &&&&&&& thejoshb's intro I'll be playing them, maybe I'll make a few minitages.

I hope they do a good free christmas bundle for ps+ players this year.. just trying to wonder what games they could include thou.
