What do you guys think about Robert Bowling resigning?

Me personally i think it is very bad Robert kept mw3 run smoothly.

He resigns and hack start to come out all ready

So what do you guys think?

Ahh i can see why he would quit.
People act like he's the guy who made the Type95 overpowered, he's the guy who put in final stand, he's the guy which can fix a glitch. He's not. He's nothing. He echo's what the company says and sometimes echo's what we say back to them.

I dont blame him for quitting. People can only take so much crap. All he was was the public face of IW, not a developer, not a designer, he didnt create nor fix the problems. All he did was relay information from the company to the gamers and the gamers back to the company. Yet people blamed him personally for everything. Made death threats against him and disrepected his family. The fact that he didnt go off the deep end is astonishing to me.

I think Bowling leaving is good for gaming in general. I think he started to come up with ideas that benefited us gamers by giving DLC away for free, which Infinity Ward didn't like. Now, he is free to join another company and maybe help design another sweet game. MW3 is up and running. All IW has to do is not change and theyll have a decent product. And now if Bowling helps another company, it just means we get twice as many good games. IW needed a change anyways. Wish fourzerotwo the best and hope he gets some new work out there soon!

Is there a specific reason that he's leaving? I personally didn't like him that much because he promised sniping only lobies in mw3 and obviously there aren't any so I was a little disappointed
