right first of if you are thinking of getting this you must be willing to pay between 150 and 190 pounds ( dependent on where you get the pvr from) this is equivalent to 240 to 290 dollars if you are you will not necessary need a hd tv you can use a tv with av cable outputs the happuage hd pvr will only let you down 720p which is not full hd to start of with but you carnt really tell the difference that much the box blends in as well so you carnt see it that much the disadvantages of buying the happuage is that it don't record in full 1080p, when you want to start a download it will take 5 seconds before it starts recording

I don't know if it is more expensive in the UK, but I bought mine from amazon new for $199.99 American which is about 125 pounds. I think you are getting ripped off.

well in the uk you carnt get it cheaper than 160 pound without it being second hand and normally they never have any in stock so you have to pay about 170 pound

Think i got lucky buying mine.

I bought my Happuage gaming edition online for £99 brand new about 2 month's ago, but i also use power director which means i can render it to 1080p.

Havent had any problems with it so im happy to keep using it.
