Drake is supposed to only be in his late 20s in the show. Although I like Jeremy renner, I think he's too old for the part. As far as the supernatural guy goes, I'm on the fence. I did like him in dark angel though.

For some reason I can't see the first pic but I'm assuming its the jennson guy. I would prefer less accurate looks for more accurate personality and mannerisms. I believe the lady that created the character said she modeled h after Nathan fillion. So there you go. Also, Nolan north (voice actor of drake) already established the part and looks a hell of a lot like drake anyway. He totally could do it. But again it's the age thing. I know I'm being a bit neurotic, but I'm just a huge fan of the games and I don't want the movies to be anything other than a direct copy of the game. Or we will end up with such garbage as the resident evil movies, doom, etc.

I'm with you on the quality. I've played all three of them, and the story is amazing and so much could be done with the movies.

Nathan Fillion is too old, an while he's got the attitude for it, the look is a little off.

Fillion:

I think nolan is really far off from the look, but he does have some of the mannerisms.

Nolan:

Nathan is the model for the character. And yes. As of now is too old. Nolan has all of the mannerisms since he not only voiced the character but also did the motion capture. So Nolan IS Drake. Again just too old.

This thread kinda got hijacked by me. But either way. I just love the uncharted games so much that I figure I'm gonna end up being pissed because they are going to cast a name, not an actor to fit the part and completely ruin the franchise. These games are just to good to be turned into a crap movie by poor casting and a lame-ass story.

maybe in 5 years when they actually get around to producing it, there will be someone out there who fits the role perfectly.

not much of a hijack though, seeing as how the thread is about "movie adaptions of games"

There's no reason for me to direct. I want it to be the games turned directly into a movie. It is all already there. Script, characters, scenes. All they have to do is make a live-action version of the game. I just know that they will end up jacking it up in someway.

It's hollywood, of course they will, drake will probably be smoking the entire movie, the bad guys will have some kind of hookers/strippers that fall in love with drake or some stupid s**t. They'll all be driving BMW's and it'll take place in the middle of new york city.

oh you know who else would be good, the guy from vertical limit or he was robin in a batman movie, and I think he was in something else, like max payne or something:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Chris O'Donnell could totally pull it off.

Oh god no. That would be terrible. No amount of anything can make up for his involvement in batman forever.

As of have stated before, and I even made a commentary on it, I HATE HOLLYWOOD! I hate it when hollywood makes remakes, adaptations, and too many sequels. So needless to say, I have not enjoyed any video game adaptations.
